NETGEAR SMB: ADVANCED WiFi & NETWORKING SOLUTION
Project overview
Over a 7-year partnership, we collaborated with NETGEAR to enhance their SMB model through UX/UI design interventions. We contributed in developing a cloud-based solution called NETGEAR Insight, offering seamless setup and configuration for Insight Managed Access Points, Switches, and ReadyNAS devices. We successfully created a unified ecosystem that integrated both hardware and software offerings, simplifying networking complexity and providing advantages such as unified setup, ongoing maintenance, remote access, scalability, and reliability.
Problem
NETGEAR had multiple products that constantly underwent upgrades and feature updates. Small team size and ever-expanding product goals made it difficult for them to scale as expected.
Solution
We onboarded a team of 4 designers and UX experts, commencing work immediately after finalizing legal agreements. Our dedicated team of 10+ designers seamlessly aligned with NETGEAR's design processes while working on multiple products. Our proposed solution for the Insight web and mobile application involved addressing usability issues, resulting in improved overall usability and navigation.
